Hey Lady Trunk Show

Hey Lady Trunk Show Starts NOW!
March 28-April 7th, 2012

For the next week and a half, La Jeune Mariee Bridal Boutique in Worthington, Ohio will host a trunk show highlighting some of the most comfortable and chic bridal shoes in the industry.  We understand that it's hard to picture that these 2 adjectives should go together when describing shoes.  Trust us when we say that these shoes, made with the same technology Cole Haan uses in their Nike shoe products, are well worth the extra cost.  Ordering from us during the show however reduces your investment by 15%!

Champagne Goggles

The ladies at Hey Lady, Jessica and Emily Leung, some of the cutest twins we've ever seen have a knack for stylish and vintage inspired kicks.  Champagne Goggles above are the most popular shoe we sell here at La Jeune Mariee and owner Lindsay Fork likes to refer to those as her "Saturday Shoes."  "I wear my gold Champagne Goggles on our busiest day of the week because I know I won't be limping after being on my feet servicing brides and maids after a full work day.  Plus, they go with a multitude of outfits I like to wear to the shoppe as well!  I am forcing myself to not buy the navy ones!"

Pre-Nope in White and Grey

4" Twinkle Toes

Call us or email to schedule an appointment to come in and try these amazing shoes on and see for yourself!  One of the sales consultants would LOVE to help you fit into your favorite pair.

XOXO,

LJM Real Bride: Featuring Lea-Ann Belter

Smile… that is what you will do when you feast your eyes on this delightful collection of wedding photos from our gorgeous LJM bride Jessica Zimmerer and her handsome groom Greg Pritt.  Surrounded by her bridesmaids, who are all wearing decadent, cognac, Wtoo dresses, Jessica wore an off-white, silk dupioni gown named Mathia by the talented Lea-Ann Belter, all able to be purchased at La Jeune Mariee, of course.  The brides dress, which is a fit and flair shape, complimented Jessica’s tall frame perfectly and was complete with a surprising bow in the back.  This bow became a fun focal point for other parts of the wedding, including the cake.  Jessica added some notes of splendor with sparkling Haute Bride earrings, a Toni Federici veil and a glimmering beaded belt by Watters.  Not only was the bridal party looking impeccable, including Mrs. Zimmerer wearing a cabernet Coren Moore dress and jacket, but you could not ask for a more beautiful autumn day!  In mid-November no less!  The ceremony and reception took place at Longaberger Country Club and seemed to be a romantic and charming setting for our happy couple. Cassidy Dawn Photography captured this magical moment wonderfully and we wish nothing but happiness to Jessica and Greg!

Friday Feature- Jim Hjelm Trunk Show

Are you a fan of the gorgeous gowns of Jim Hjelm? We are! That’s why this weekend we will be hosting a Jim Hjelm Trunk Show from Friday, March 9 until Sunday, March 11!

Jim Hjelm is part of the JLM Couture line and features gowns for every bride.  The gowns are designed by California native, Francesca Pitera.  On their website, www.jlmcouture.com, Francesca discusses how she combines innovative design, luxurious fabrics, and exquisite details to create bridal wear that is fashion-forward yet classically beautiful.

“Each dress has its own individual look and special details,” she says. “Every little thing is important, even the placement of embroidery or the way draping falls over a gown’s bodice. I try to offer a wide variety of different looks so I can give to brides and bridesmaids a range of strong choices. The most important thing to me is that women are happy and feel absolutely gorgeous in their gowns.”

We want our brides to be happy, too! We have a wide range of styles to suit every bride’s designer tastes.  Our appointments are always booked for Jim Hjelm’s trunk shows but lucky for us we have several of their gowns who have a permanent home here so we can enjoy them all the time!

Xoxo,

Lindsay

Friday Feature - Hey Ladies!

Photo via Hey Lady website

Thanks to Emily and Jessica Leung, the beautiful Hey Lady! brand of shoes exists for brides and belles everywhere.  As they mention on their website (www.shopheylady.com), they couldn't live without style and comfort. What is one without the other? As their mom would say, “Half the fun.”

After many mishaps with bad dancing shoes, the sisters decided to change  the bridal shoe world for the better.  Their website also notes that every style is inspired by the effortless glamour of legendary leading ladies and modern day minxes alike.  Jackie O, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor with a little Kate Middleton, Emma Pillsbury, and Zooey Deschanel mixed in.  Playful, fun, and feminine and always ladylike, Hey Lady is accessible glamour for the Different "It" Girl.

Heirloom quality, vintage-inspired designs that withstand the test of time and the first dance.  The sisters wanted to make sure their shoes were fabulous and comfortable for brides to be able to dance the night away in style, and to feel good doing it.  Make an appointment with us or stop in the store to try on some of these beauties!
